What is Qigong?
Qigong, pronounced “chee gong,” was developed in China thousands of years ago as one branch of traditional Chinese medicine (alongside acupuncture, herbal therapy, dietary therapy, massage and lifestyle adjustments). It involves the use of gentle accessible exercises to optimise energy within the body, mind, and spirit, with the goal of improving and maintaining health and well-being. Qigong has both psychological and physical components and involves the regulation of the mind, breath, and body’s movement and posture. Most people find Qigong incredibly soothing and energising.
When are the live coaching calls?
The weekly live sessions begin with our Welcome Circle on Sunday the 12th of January at 7.30am Adelaide ACDT (8.00am Melbourne/Sydney, 5.00am Singapore, 10.00am New Zealand, 4.00pm Saturday New York, 9.00pm Saturday London). The live sessions will continue at the same time each week for a total of seven sessions, with the last session, our Closing Ceremony being held on the 23rd of February.
What if I can’t make a live session?
Not a problem. The live sessions will be recorded so you can catch up by watching the replays at a time that is convenient for you.
